Salesian High School celebrates its 56th Commencement Ceremony
Bishop Mora Salesian High School celebrated its fifty-sixth commencement ceremony last week in front of a record number of guests in attendance at Keegan Stadium. The series of festivities this year began Thursday evening with Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by Fr. Jim Nieblas, SDB, followed by senior farewell and awards ceremony the next day front of family, invited guests and the student body. Graduation week concluded with the graduation ceremony on Friday evening. 136 graduates received diplomas from Salesian this year, making it one of the biggest classes in recent history. Graduates from Salesian will be attending colleges and universities throughout the country this fall including UC Berkeley, UCLA, Rice University, and the University of Oregon, among others.
