Biography: Mr. Ramirez is a Boyle Heights native and Salesian Alumni (class of 2007). Prior to attending Bishop Mora Salesian High School, he attended St. Marys elementary school in Boyle Heights as well. He has attained several certificates including Fingerprinting classification, academy training instruction, and corrections. From 2018-2020 Mr. Ramirez attended California State, Dominguez Hills, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice. Currently, Mr. Ramirez is attending California State Dominguez Hills and completing his teaching credential in Physical Education.
Mr. Ramirez has gained over 15 years of experience working in an education setting and with diverse youth populations. Mr. Ramirez has worked in various school districts in both general and special education classrooms in grades K-12. He has experience coaching high schools and lower-level sports such as football, basketball, and baseball. He spent the last 4 years working with at-risk youth and probation clients focused on mental health in a group home setting.
