Biography: I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I have been a Whittier resident for five years, and still getting used to the Golden State. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in History from Stony Brook University, and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education, grades 7 - 12, from Brooklyn College. I am also in possession of a California Teaching Credential in Social Science.
I have been happily married to Emma Angevine Narvaez for nine years. We have two wonderful children: Theodore Narvaez, a first-grader at Ocean View elementary, and Madeline Narvaez, presently attending Pre-Kindergarten at East Whittier Presbyterian Church School. This is my second year at Salesian; I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my first year, particularly the staff camaraderie and the bond between the students. I am looking forward to the present 2017-2018 school year.
